Working alongside the Adligton in-house design team, JPS provided a full structural design for Riverside Gardens, a 61 unit retirement community on the banks of the river Nidd in Knaresborough, Yorkshire. The collection of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments are designed for those who want to enjoy modern, stylish living in a safe and secure environment.
The structure incorporated piled foundations with reinforced ground-beams with load-bearing masonry and precast floors. The scheme was designed in a federated 3D workspace to ensure full coordination between all disciplines prior to construction.
The JPS BIM team used Revit with integrated Dynamo scripts to automate pile schedules, rebar information and lintel schedules.
