A Lunchtime Success! £155 Raised for Macmillan Cancer Support
We’re delighted to share the success of our recent Macmillan Cancer Support charity lunch. Thanks to the JPS team’s generosity and enthusiasm, we’ve raised significant funds a vital cause.
Macmillan Charity Lunch Success
Our Macmillan Cancer Support charity lunch was a huge success. In total, we raised an incredible £155. Importantly, every penny goes directly to Macmillan. This money will help them continue their vital work supporting people living with cancer.
To begin with, colleagues enjoyed a delicious buffet-style lunch. Then they took part in a team challenge. This activity encouraged teamwork and added a bit of healthy competition, all while supporting a great cause. Consequently, our combined efforts successfully raised the £155 contribution.
JPS charity donations continue
In addition to our charity lunch, JPS recently made another significant contribution to a cancer charity with a £500 to Cancer Research UK.
Our apprentice technician, Shay, chose this charity. He nominated it in memory of his grandfather, who sadly passed away two years ago. Therefore, Shay’s nomination highlights the deeply personal importance of supporting cancer research. This donation also addresses the ongoing need to fund scientific advancements and improved treatments.
