Working along side Willmott Dixon Construction and Lovelock Mitchell Architects, JPS provided full civil & structural design to this new four storey extra care facility in Flint.
The new facility will offer both permanent care, transitional care, allowing people to return home with the assistance they need and rest bite day care to local residents.
This projected involved the remediation of the ground following the demolition of the previous community hospital on site and the installation of Rigid Inclusion to allow for the installation of traditional foundations on site.
The structural works involved the design of the four storey steel frame and concrete composite slabs along with intensive Civil design works to transform a varying sloping site to an easily accessible entrance for the end user.
