JPS provided structural design services to Read Construction in relation to the refurbishment, renovation and extension of Oakfield Manor, Upton. Originally built in 1885 as a country house, Oakfield Manor is now the headquarters of Chester Zoo and has undergone restoration and extension works. JPS provided temporary works expertise to allow for the reconstruction of the feature brick chimneys and re-roofing works. This technical knowledge of temporary works allows JPS to deliver highly efficient structural solutions that take account of site logistics, buildability and temporary works constraints.
