JPS provided full structural engineering design services for the phased refurbishment, restoration and extension of St Beuno’s Spirituality retreat in Tremeirchion, North Wales.
Working alongside Chambers Conservation, we designed the new boiler house at St Beuno’s retreat. This new build utilised dry-stone walling clad to blockwork with a green roof and larch cladding.
A full structural engineering design was also provided for alteration works to the West Wing of the Victorian Grade II listed structure, and the construction of a new meeting and congregation hall.
JPS were able to draw upon their extensive restoration experience to sensitively design the adaptation and extension works that were expertly implemented by the contractor for the works, TG Williams.
