JPS led the structural design for an ambitious refurbishment and fit-out of an existing industrial building on the TATA steel Shotton site, creating high-spec office and meeting space within the existing shell of the former steel processing building.
The team undertook detailed inspections of the existing structure including geotechnical investigations to allow the new internal structures to be supported off and hung from the existing structure whilst minimising any costly works below slab level.
