JPS have recently completed the refurbishment and conversion of the former Burton’s menswear store in Wrexham to create a new community church for the Diocese of St Asaph.
The project involved sensitive repair and strengthening works to the historic façade and internal modifications to create community space at ground floor, meeting and workshop space at 1st floor and an open plan congregation space at 2nd floor. The structural input included renovation works to an existing structure, loading checks and structural strengthening where required to allow for change of use and the integration of new structures alongside the existing.
