JPS worked with AH2 Developments and Saer Architects on this development of self-catering holiday apartments in Bull Bay, Anglesey.
Located on the site of the former Bull Bay Hotel which was demolished in 2022 due to health and safety concerns, the new apartment block replicates the form of the previous hotel building with a contemporary twist to enhance the stunning, coastal site.
Nine 2 bedroom apartments are provided with open plan kitchens, living/dining rooms and Juliet balconies allowing views out across the Anglesey coastline. The building sits alongside a further three 3 bedroom self catering houses.
JPS provided the structural design for this new build development featuring timber-framed superstructures. The JPS team were able to quickly adapt to the tricky site conditions, including a sloping site and previous basement structures to provide innovative and effective foundation solutions for the contractor DU Construction.
