Project overview
JPS provided full civil and structural engineering design services for the new-build teaching block extension at Ysgol Bro Alun in Wrexham.
Constructed on a former landfill site, the development required extensive ground improvement and remediation works to create a suitable foundation for the new facility.
The project incorporated a steel-framed structure with timber cladding, alongside external works including additional play areas, landscaping enhancements, and upgrades to the site’s drainage infrastructure. The completed scheme delivered valuable new educational space while improving the surrounding external environment.
